Plugsound Pro Vst Download
I own the collection and, overall, find the sounds to be pretty good. The piano collection is probably the best of the bunch.

With respect to the challenge-response copy protection, the one time I had to reinstall the software, the USB Sounds registration website was unavailable for an entire weekend. To say the least, it was a very frustrating experience, and that incident was enough to make me begin seriously thinking twice before using any software with challenge-response copy protection in the future.
Plugsound Free by UVI is a Virtual Instrument Audio Plugin. It functions as a VST Plugin. Version, Download, Released. Mixcraft Pro Studio.
In my experience, if we pay relatively large amounts of money for challenge-response software, then the software providers need to provide a guarantee to the customer that their registration services will be available 99.9% of the time. These types of Service Level Agreements are common in the IT industry, yet, for some reason, I have yet to see one challenge-response-based plug-in developer publicly publish a SLA of this sort. This is unfortunate because it puts a lot of risk on us as customers, and it makes using their products a gamble. So, while products like PlugSound might have decent sounds, I personally would carefully consider their copy protection scheme until their developers begin to get serious enough to publish SLAs that they can be held accountable for. I use the PlugSound Vol.2 Fretted Instruments, and it works great.
I use it mainly for bass guitar. As far as their registration goes, it actually works well and somewhat differently than others. You can re-register once every 30 days if need be, since it re-generates a new code every 30 days. I think they do this type of scheme so that you are not ultimately limited. On another note, I recently ran out of the 3 registration challenges for both Amplitube and SampleTank1LE.the last two of which were used up within a two week time frame from reinstalling my OS twice due to hardware updates. Then when I put together an entirely new/faster/better PC for music/video production, I had to email IK Multimedia's tech support twice asking them to reset my response/challenges.which they did, so I started all over again with 3 new fresh ones to use up.
But then, I have only been using them up on one system that I kept updating and upgrading over the past couple years. Guitar Center sells the PlugSound Volumes for $79.00 and at that price, they really are worth looking at. Is the free demo have enough functionality to be useful on its own. And what instruments does it include? Actually yes, though I don't re-call the actual instruments, there were some from each category. At one point howver there were some patches in the free demo that were not included in any of the retail versions.
Still for the most part I've found plugsound the company (actually usbsounds) to be invisible on line. If there's a technical problem I haven't had the confidence in a speedy resolution. So today when I had to use the plugins in a project but couldn't because of the copy protection and authorizer site being down that was basically it, so beware on that one. My use of softsynths is starting to make beeline for zero. ORIGINAL: D.Triny actually yes, though I don't re-call the actual instruments, there were some from each category. At one point howver there were some patches in the free demo that were not included in any of the retail versions. I use it on occasion and I do like the sounds from PS Free.
It's worth having around considering it is free. So today when I had to use the plugins in a project but couldn't because of the copy protection and authorizer site being down that was basically it, so beware on that one. My use of softsynths is starting to make beeline for zero. An interesting nightmarish experience. With the proliferation of horrendous copy protection schemes, the rise in prices, and the hassles of computer upgrades to run softsynths, hardware is looking good all over again.
